Clyde Miller

Clyde Miller, Jr., age 97, passed away at home on May 21, 2024. He was born June 3, 1926 to the late Clyde and Jennie (Thordsen) Miller, Sr., in Fort Calhoun, Nebraska.

In 1936, the family moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa. He married Marjorie Lewis on January 20, 1946. Clyde and Marjorie celebrated 78 years of marriage this past January. They were devoted to one another and no children were born to this union. Clyde was an avid bowler, and enjoyed playing pinochle and feeding the birds. He was a 72 year member of Steamfitters Local 464 in Omaha.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters; brothers-in-law, Ron and his wife Bunny Watson, Mike Watson, Jack Lewis, Harold "Pete" Peterson, and Lynn Watson; and a nephew, Bob Miller.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Geraldine Watson, Jeanne Peterson, Linda Watson, Bob and Verna Watson, Mary Watson; many nieces; nephews; and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 with visitation an hour prior to the service.
