Corky

Corinne Beth "Corky" Floyd, age 65, passed away peacefully at her home on September 20, 2025.

She was born April 10, 1960, to Andrew and Jeanette (Laux) Colburn in New Ulm, MN. Corky attended Creston Iowa High School, but graduated from Leon Iowa with the class of 1978 and then attended Iowa Western Community College. Corky was passionate about serving veterans and was involved with the American Legion Rainbow Post 2.

Corky was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Colburn; brother, Charles Colburn; first husband, Artie Miller.

Corky is survived by her husband of 11 years, James Floyd; children, Heather Camacho Amaya, Brandon Floyd, and Daniel Floyd; grandchildren, Alysha Beth Ann Miller and Anaya Josephine Camacho; great grandchildren, Levi Messiah Harris and Cyrus James Floyd; mother, Jeanette Colburn; brother, Steve Colburn; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, September 25, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
