Corwyn Gray

Corwyn L. Gray, age 86, passed away peacefully at Northcrest Living Center after a bout with dementia on December 5, 2023.

He was born June 3, 1937, to the late Frank and Lula (Lee) Gray in Malvern, IA. Corwyn attended Abraham Lincoln High School and then worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. He retired from the Council Bluffs Police Department as a Lieutenant.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Gwendolyn Gray; siblings, Jane Perry, Ernie Gray, and Ralph Gray.

Corwyn is survived by his wife of 44 years, Donna Gray; children, LuCynda (Pete) Worms-Albino and Jeffrey (Karen) Gray; grandchildren, Josh (Susan) Ely, Justin (Sarah) Ely, Chris (Stacey) Worms, Jennifer (Joe) Polak, Brook (Dan) Bowles, and Dustin (Nikki) Gray; 23 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Memorials are suggested to Midlands Humane Society, Hillcrest Hospice, or Northcrest Living Center.
