Dakota M. Escritt

Dakota M. Escritt, age 17, of Council Bluffs passed away September 27, 2014. He was born in Nebraska City, Nebraska on August 17, 1997. He was a junior at Abraham Lincoln High School. Dakota is preceded in death by his birth mother, Melinda Rae. Dakota is survived by his grandparents, James & Judy Smith, birth father, Josh Escritt; siblings, Jamie grandfather, James Escritt (Laurie); great grandparents, Larry & Gloria South; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday 5-8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday 2PM at the funeral home. Interment is in the Ridgewood Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
