Dana A. Bain

Dana A. Bain, age 82, of Council Bluffs passed away at his home on March 4, 2017.

He was born June 4, 1934 to the late Merton and Louise (Staten) Bain. Dana proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War and retired from Fireman’s Fund Insurance.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Dennis Bain.

Dana is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Bain; sons, Donnald Dixon (Jamie), Danny Bain, Garvin Bain (Melissa), Tim Bain (Cheryl); daughter-in-law, Monica Dixon; brothers, Bob Bain and Jerry Bain; sister, Sandra “Susie” Delavan (Kenneth); sister-in-law, Kay Bain; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Memorial service is 2:00p.m. on Saturday March 11, 2017 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Wings of Hope.
