Darlene "Dolly" Lara

Darlene "Dolly" Lara, age 88, passed away December 22, 2021.

She was born April 7, 1933 to the late Albert and Laura (Leinen) Reid in Portsmouth, IA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by spouse, Leo Lara; siblings, John Reid, Albert "Bud" Reid, Verle Reid, Everett Reid, Claude Reid, Violet "Sis" Hodge, and Ila Mae Mayo.

Darlene is survived by her daughters, Mary Ellen (Pete) Brazeal and Anna (John) Wright; siblings, Lloyd (Mary) Reid, Floyd (Sharon) Reid, Larry (Sharon) Reid, Mary Page, and Bernadette (John) Scott; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Viewing and visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, December 27, 2021. Inurnment will be a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery.
