David Allen Green

David Allen Green, age 52, passed away on June 3, 2026 at his home in Walls, Mississippi.

He was known as Dave by many and also known as Allen by his family down south. He was born in Selmer, Tennessee on March 2, 1974. Dave "Allen" lived life, his family was everything to him. He spent the majority of his career working at Kellogg's as a maintenance mechanic and machinist. He always had a very hard work ethic so that he could provide for his family. He was a tinkerer. Everything he put his mind to he could do. He was the fix-it man and he could build you anything you wanted built. He always did it with a smile on his face, because he enjoyed doing things for the people that meant the most to him. Dave "Allen" was so generous and was willing to give for those he loved. Family was the heart of his life.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Kelli Jo Green and his mother and father, Roy "David" Green and Linda "Charlene" Green.

Dave "Allen" is survived by his three children, Emily Green (Chris Durrett), Billie Starr (Vincent Vasquez), and James Starr (Jami Starr); girlfriend and partner, Veronica Barnes; his four legged friends, Chewy and Ollie; brother, Phillip Green and four grandchildren, Dallas, Joseph, Kellia, and Jaida.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, June 22, 2026.
