Debra Sue Bond

Debra S. Bond, age 72, passed away on July 23, 2026.

She was born July 14, 1954 to Paul and Beverly (Niemann) Phillippe in Omaha, NE. Debra graduated from Syracuse High and obtained a bachelor's degree in nursing. She worked most of her career with Nebraska Medicine.

Debra was preceded in death by her father, Paul Phillippe; daughter, Julia Bond; infant son, Joshua Bond; granddaughters, Lauren Moyle and Skarlett Shively; in-laws, Otis and Maxine Bond.

Debra is survived by her husband of 52 years, Roger Bond; children, Jessica Moyle (Richard), Jennifer Bond Buman (Jerry), Justin Bond (Erin), Jonathan Bond (Laura), Joanna Shively (Steve); mother, Beverly Phillippe; siblings, Christine Gee (Michael) and Jeff Phillippe (Kathy); grandchildren and a great grandchild; nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, July 27, 2026. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - 2303 Butler Street in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Interment will be in the Garner Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials in Debra's honor.
