Debra Jean Fronk

June 28, 1951 — March 3, 2026

Debra (Peterson) Fronk, age 74, passed away on March 3, 2026. She was born June 28, 1951, to James Daniel and Jean Marie (Stechman) Peterson in Council Bluffs, IA. Deb worked most of her life at the Phone Company (Lumen), then retired from there and moved to her lake home in Osage Beach, Missouri, with the Fronk Family and their little puppy dogs that she loved so much.

Debra is survived by her brothers and sister, Douglas Peterson (Pamela), Jeffrey Peterson (April), and Julie Muhlbauer; nieces and nephews, Bailey and Paden Muhlbauer (Halie) and Alex Beck (AJ); and her two favorite pooh kids, Elijah and Eleanor and a host of other family and friends in Missouri, Iowa, Florida and Colorado and Arizona to name a few.

Debra's favorite place to visit was Estes Park, Colorado, where we spent many a family vacation eating at LaFondas for Hispanic food, visiting Bear Lake, and attempting to climb Pikes Peak. Growing up with Deb was quite an adventure, and what a spice for life.

Deb's favorite movie is "The Wizard of OZ," and she would always say there's no place like home. We would ask Deb, "Are you ok?", and she would always reply, "I'll never be ok," which made us giggle through the years. Deb loved to swim and tan and always had the best apartments with pools and would always invite us for the summers.

Deb's favorite Colors were Red and Blue, and she loved leopard prints and had a room like what Elvis had in Graceland, called the Jungle Room.

Deb's favorite song was "Stand by Me," and as I am writing this, her cell phone is ringing, playing that song, and bringing tears to my eyes.

We miss you and love you, Debbie, to the "Moon and Back"....
