Dennis Lainson

Dennis T. Lainson, age 85, passed away at Jennie Edmundson Hospital on July 8, 2024.

He was born April 9, 1939, to the late Charles and Frances (Donnelsen) Lainson in Council Bluffs, IA. Dennis graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1957 and retired from Vickers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Dollen; grandson, Jeffrey Dollen; brothers, Bill Lainson, Roger Lainson, and Mickey Lainson; sisters, Patty Gruhn and Charlyce Hannon.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sandra Lainson; children, Wendy & Jim Green and Dion & Julie Lainson; siblings, Rennie & Hansie Lainson and Mark & Patty Lainson; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sue Lainson; brother-in-law, Don Torrez; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, July 11, 2024.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, July 12, 2024. The family will direct memorials.
