Donald Sedlacek

Donald K. Sedlacek, age 82, passed away peacefully at Jennie Edmundson Hospital October 13, 2025.

He was born January 26, 1943, to the late Kenneth and Eleanor (Kassmeyer) Sedlacek in Columbus, NE. Donald graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1961. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired from the Union Pacific Railroad as a special agent.

Donald is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sharon Sedlacek; children, Scott Sedlacek (Tina), Shelley Ragland (Ron), and Stacy Sedlacek; grandchildren, Brandon Sedlacek, Iris Ragland (Alison Smith), Troy Sedlacek (Morgan), Cole Ragland, and Joely Sedlacek.

A reception in his honor will be in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
