Donna L. Stom

Donna L. Stom, age 90, passed away March 9, 2023 in Omaha, Nebraska.

She was born October 17 1932 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to the late Belden and Mary (Moser) Clark. Donna graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1950. After receiving her LPN degree from Iowa Western Community College, she worked at Jennie Edmundson Hospital for many years. Donna married Nick Stom on October 29, 1960. They are members of St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Darrel Clark, Edwin Clark, Carolyn Vanata, Marilyn Childs, and Jack Clark.

Donna is survived by her husband of 62 years, Nick Stom; children, Michael Stom (Marva), John Himmelsehr (Kate), Steven Himmelsehr; Gary Stom (Therese), Nick Stom Jr.; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and one on the way; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is Tuesday, March 14, 2023, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home, with a Trisagion prayer service beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral service is Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church.

Interment is in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the church or to Ozarks Kat and K9 Shelter, Sunrise Beach, Missouri.
