Dora Weis

Dora J. Weis, age 93, passed away at Midlands Living Center November 15, 2023. She was born July 27, 1930, to the late John and Frances (Fisher) Sorenson in Council Bluffs, IA. Dora retired from the Council Bluffs Public Library.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Frances Weis; brothers, Gene Sorenson, John Sorenson, and Joe Sorenson.

Dora is survived by her daughters, Karen Weis and Bev Weis; twin brothers, Gordon Sorenson and Tom (Eunice) Sorenson; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, November 20, 2023. Visitation will be during the hour prior to the service. Memorials are suggested to the Council Bluffs Public Library.
