Doris A. Underwood

Doris A. Underwood, age 85, went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2023.

She was born March 19, 1937, to Wilbur and Martha (Worrell) Kimpton near Gravity, Iowa. Doris graduated from Gravity High School and went onto College and worked as a Bookkeeper in Clarinda, Iowa where she met and married her husband, William (Bill). In 1961, Doris came with Bill to Council Bluffs where she became a full time homemaker and mother of 2 sons. She had been an active member of Prospect Park Baptist Church since 1970.

Doris was preceded in death by parents; husband, William "Bill"; and four brothers, Paul, Kenneth, Jimmy, and Dennis.

She is survived by sons, Curtis and Kevin of Council Bluffs.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Interment will be at Garner Cemetery.
