Dorothy G. Ortiz

Dorothy G. Ortiz, age 74, passed away peacefully at Missouri Valley Hospital June 11, 2023.

She was born March 20, 1949, to the late Everette and Mary (Alysworth) Pierce in Council Bluffs, IA. Dorothy graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Borrunda; brother, Donald Pierce.

Dorothy is survived by siblings, Donna Roth, Everett Pierce Jr., Steven (Barbara) Pierce, and Vergie Pierce-Horner; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, June 23, 2023. The family will direct memorials.
