Douglas Kent Hansen

Douglas Kent Hansen, age 59 of Council Bluffs passed away October 23, 2012. He was born in Council Bluffs on September 4, 1953 to the late Hiram & Avis (Wakehouse) Hansen. Douglas was a member of First Christian Church. Over the years he was an avid softball player and was an umpire for local leagues. Douglas was last employed at Tyson Foods in Council Bluffs and was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Hansen. Douglas is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Valerie & Daniel Nelson, Paula & Greg Turner; 2 nieces and 3 nephews. Visitation is Friday 6:00-8:00 PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral is Saturday 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment is in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
