Pete Adams

Duane A. "Pete" Adams, age 90, passed away peacefully at the Josie Harper Hospice House on July 5, 2026.

He was born January 21, 1936, to the late Hubert and Elsie Adams in Linn Grove, IA. Pete proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired from UPS. He was an active member and past Exhaulted Ruler of the Elks Lodge No. 531 in Council Bluffs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Dick Adams; sister, Marge Roberts.

Pete is survived by his wife, Pat Adams; children, Dan Adams (Teresa), Kay Adams, Doug Adams (Connie), Kelly Hochstetler, and Scott Adams (Ann); sister, Pat Reese (Ron); grandchildren and great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, July 9, 2026. The family will direct memorials.
