Dwight W. Schroder

Dwight W. Schroder of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away April 19, 2013. He was born February 20, 1930 in Carson, Iowa to the late William & Elma (Kindhart) Schroder. Dwight served his Country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a career truck driver and mechanic. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Schroder; sister, Twyla Killion; brother, Lloyd Schroder. Dwight is survived by his children, David Schroder (Diane), Dennis Schroder (Rogene), Dean Schroder (Kim Sim), Teresa Bahr (Scott Harris); the children’s mother, Kathleen Schroder; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Nancy Schroder; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Dale Cleveland; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation is Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Memorials are suggested to Peace Church of the Brethren.
