Eddie R. Bates, age 68, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away on September 3, 2022.
He was born on November 4, 1953, in Kansas City, Missouri. Eddie worked for several roofing companies throughout the years. In 1993, he founded Bates Roofing.
Eddie is survived by his wife of 48 years, Julie Bates; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Michelle Bates; daughter and son-in-law, Brandie and Jason Slack; grandchildren; Brittney (Casey) Wilkins, Dalton Bates, Mason Slack & Julia Slack; great grandson, Bo Wilkins; nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
In honor of Eddie’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
