Edna Kelly

Edna Mae Kelly, age 89, passed away peacefully at Prairie Gate September 23, 2025.

She was born May 14, 1936, to the late Anson and Lida "Pearl" (Moore) Riesland in rural Harrison County, IA. Edna graduated from Missouri Valley High School with the class of 1953. She was a member of First Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester F. Kelly; sisters, Ethel Hinkel and Mary O'Connor; brothers, Oscar, Elmer, Howard, Emmett, and Lloyd Riesland.

Edna is survived by her children, Barbara Wood (Bill), Gary Kelly, Catherine Stafford (Andrew), and Sandra Hemmingsen (Craig); sister, Pearl Manning; grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, September 29, 2025. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, September 29, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
