Edna L. Athay-Jacobs

Edna L. Athay-Jacobs, age 74, of Council Bluffs passed away November 25, 2013. She was born February 4, 1939 in Atlantic, Iowa to the late Ray & Evelyn Wallace. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Jacobs; son, William Athay III; brother, Edward Wallace, sister, Sheila Woods; great granddaughter, Angeline Athay. Edna is survived by her daughter, Peggy Brensel; son, Bobby Athay; 10 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; many other family and friends. Visitation is Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Friday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Cedar lawn Cemetery followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials.
