Emory B. Jones

Emory B. Jones, age 89, passed away at his home on April 18, 2021.
He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on April 1, 1932 to the late Richard and Purna (Cross) Jones. Emory proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired from the Council Bluffs Community School District.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 6 siblings.
Emory is survived by his wife of 61 years, Karen Jones; children, Jeffery Jones (Martha), Jeanie Jones, Ronda Schramm (Kim) and Robin Gardner (William); 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation is at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday April 22, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service is at the funeral home on Friday April 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Interment with military honors is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
