Ernest J. Knight

Ernest J. Knight, age 79, passed away on January 18, 2023. He was born on July 3, 1943 in Omaha, Nebraska to John and Gertrude (Hineman) Knight. He was a proud local 21 iron worker for many years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Connie Knight; daughters, Wilma Schmeckpeper, Lori Hardisty, Lisa Hardisty; sisters, Linda Price; brothers, Warren Knight, Albert Knight.

Ernest is survived by his children, Steven Knight, Vicki Knight, David Knight; grandchildren, Tarrah, Lacey, Jamie, Holly, Shannon, Misty, Kody, Aleigh, Dustin, Ryan, Kolby, and Ella; numerous great grandchildren; sister, June Olsufka; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00- 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, January 27, 2023. Private family burial will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
