Ernest F Skare II

Ernest F Skare II, age 72, passed away at Nebraska Medicine on July 3, 2026.

He was born December 4, 1953, to the late Ernest and Erlean Skare in Grinnell, IA. Ernest was a retired chiropractor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Paula.

Ernest is survived by his children, Andy Mallory, Dustin Mallory, Ryan Mallory, and Lindsey Mallory (Jessie); siblings, Sandi Ames (Richard) and Margaret "Meg" Skare; grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.

Viewing and visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, July 17, 2026. Memorial Service will be held at 9:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Inurnment will be in the Saint Joseph Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Nebraska Humane Society.
