Esther Bender, age 87, passed away September 25, 2022.
She was born February 20, 1935, in Worthington, MN. Esther was a longtime member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and retired from her teaching career at Brownell-Talbot School.
Esther is survived by her husband, Robert Bender; daughter, Kristen (Sung) Cho; step-daughter, Alexis (Doug) Nelson; grandchildren, Anya Cho, Esther Cho, Tony Nelson, Bradley (Esther) Nelson, Charity Nelson, Daubrey (Jake) Dragon; great grandchild, Vera Nelson.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, September 30, 2022.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, September 30, 2022. Memorials are suggested to Emanuel Lutheran Church or Iowa Public Television.
