Floyd Belt

Floyd A. Belt, age 84, passed away at CHI Health Mercy Hospital May 4, 2025.

He was born March 15, 1941, to the late Floyd and Lilian (Palmasano) Belt in Council Bluffs, IA. Floyd retired from Nebraska Engineering and was a member of Midwest Family Worship Center.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ellie Belt; sister, Pauline Cherney.

Floyd is survived by children, Floyd Belt Jr., Richard (Wendy) Belt, Winnie (Kyle) Belt, and Melissa (Andrew) Lewis; sister, Theresa Hagge; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Viewing and visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 07, 2025. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Crescent Cemetery on Thursday, May 8, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
