Gail W. Kirchert, age 86, passed away January 20, 2022.
He was born February 10, 1935, to the late Herbert and Cordelia Kirchert. Gail proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired from Ready Mix.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kirchert; daughter, Shelley Albright; grandsons, Ricky Albright and Dustin Roof; great grandson, Gavyn Judd; brothers, George, Marion, Raymond, and Harvey Dean Kirchert.
Gail is survived by his children, Pam (Jim) Minor, Tina Garrison, Debra (Scott) Dayton, Donald Garrison, Shawn (Dawn) Kirchert; Bob (Shelly) Rogers, Bill (Mary) Rogers; grandchildren, Jeff (Anna) Minor, Chad Judd, Heidi Swanson, Tim Albright, John (Tabitha) Shea, Amanda Shea, Stacie Moore, Steve Garrison, MaKayla Garrison, Lexi Kirchert, Lily Kirchert, Andrew Rogers, Brandon Rogers, Cayden Rogers, and Devon Rogers, Steve (Erin) Rogers, Tanya Rogers; great grandchildren, Dustin, Stevie, Payton, Kylene, Chaz, Emerson, Xander, McKenzie, Milo, Emilyn, Isaiah, Alexis, Zackary, Maxton, Maverick, Kamri, Stevie, Leo, Nick, Kaelynn, Isaiah, Izzabella and Zoey; great-great grandchildren, Asher, Kaysen, KayDynce, Braxtyn, Braylnn; sister, Rinda Rothermund; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation is at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday January 23, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Funeral service is at the funeral home on Tuesday January 25, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Pottawattamie County Veteran’s Affairs.
