Gale Ray Arch

Gale R. Arch, age 64, passed away at his home on July 25, 2014. He was born in Council Bluffs on October 5, 1949 to the late Jack & Margaret Arch. Gale graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1967. He retired from the Douglas County Assessors Office and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Sandy Riley. Gale is survived by his wife, Carolyn Arch; children, Kimberly Laird (Boyd), Kevin Baughman, Keith Kmett (Rebecca) and Klayton Kmett (Nicole); brother, Russ Arch (Pat); sister, Iris Arch Hunter (Bill Hunter); step-mother, Fern Lund; 10 grandchildren and 10 Great grandchildren. Visitation is Monday 6-8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Tuesday 10AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Council Bluffs Ward Building 2226 Ave I. Interment will follow in the Garner Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
