Gary A. Butterbaugh

Gary A. Butterbaugh, age73, of Council Bluffs passed away at his home on February 1, 2016. He was born in Dunlap, Iowa on May 20, 1942 to the late Earl and Viola (Brockmann) Butterbaugh. Gary graduated from high school in Oakland, Iowa and retired after a career with Frito Lay. Gary is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kathy Butterbaugh; children, Lisa Campbell and her husband Patrick, Jay Butterbaugh and his wife Rachel, Tiffany Torrez and her husband Tony; brothers, Dale Butterbaugh, Merle Butterbaugh and his wife Harlene; sisters, Sharon Held and her husband Randy, Donna Wheeldon; granddaughter, Isa Torrez; step-grandchildren, James, Hannah and Andrew Conklin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leonard and Lu Belt; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Thursday from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Celebration of his life is 10:00a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Interment is in the Ridgewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Hospice of Southwest Iowa.
