Gary Farwell

Gary David Farwell, age 73, was born at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Fort Dodge, lowa on February 14, 1953 to Arthur Frederick Farwell and Georgia Louise Farwell and gained his wings in the early morning hours of June 26. 2026 at his home in Randolph, lowa.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, Arthur Farwell and his mother, Georgia McFarland; his sister, Marcia Damewood; and his stepson, Nicholas Kempton.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Farwell; stepson, Monte McConahay; brothers in-law, Billy McConahay and wife Kathy McConahay of Thurman, Rex Travis of Glenwood and Glen Travis of Tabor;grandchildren, Amy Mcconahay, Dakota Kempton and significant other Alyssa Horton, Joseph and Jaelyn Alley of Fort Bragg, N.C., Colton Bland of Malvern and many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Allen Farwell of Eldon, Mo., Michael Farwell of Olathe, Kansas; and sister, Julie Bobo of Denison, Texas.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
