(Jim) George James Ollie Jr

(Jim) George James Ollie, Jr., age 81, started his next adventure October 11, 2026.

He was born August 12, 1945 in Port Angeles, Washington to the late George James Ollie, Sr. George was a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He served his country and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of Vietnam as a Signal man on a U.S. destroyer.

He was preceded in death by his father, George James Ollie, Sr. (a former Navy Seal in the U.S. Navy); other family members grandparents, aunts and uncles.

His memory is carried forward by his son, Chris W. O. Perkins; daughter-in-law, Victoria R. Perkins; sister, Georgetta Shea; brother-in-law, Mike Shea, Sr.; ex-wife, Karen S. Ollie; brother-in-law, Allen K. Iverson; a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other family members.

Graveside services are being held Friday, October 16, 2026 at 2:00p.m. at Garner Township Cemetery.
