Gerard Leahy

Gerard "Jerry" Leahy Sr., age 73, passed away February 12, 2026. He was born June 29, 1952 to Joseph Sr. and Claire (Graham) Leahy in Omaha, Nebraska.
Gerard enjoyed bicycling and valued the sense of community it brought him. He also loved fishing, spending time outdoors, and being with his friends and family. His many hobbies reflected his appreciation for nature and simple moments with those he loved.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph Jr. and Louis Leahy.

Gerard is survived by his wife, Lin Leahy; children, Gerard (Andrea) Leahy Jr.; Daniel Leahy; Benjamin Leahy, Ranni (Luke) Leahy - Barrett; 3 grandchildren, Jackson, Nicholas, Oliana; brothers, Gerald Leahy, Terry Leahy; brothers and sisters- in-law, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, February 15, 2026, with Rosary Resuscitation to began at 4:00 pm.
Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, February 16, 2026. The family will direct memorials.
