Gloria Johnson

Gloria J. Johnson, age 90, passed away peacefully at her son's home on January 23, 2024.

She was born March 30, 1933, to the late Fred and Laveta (Snipes) Christensen Sr. in Council Bluffs, IA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Verlyn Johnson Sr.; son, Verlyn Johnson Jr.; sister, Virginia Bergman; brothers, Fred Christensen Jr. and Don Christensen.

Gloria is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Terry (Kim) Johnson; brother, Ray Christensen; grandchildren, Catherine (Lee) Perich, Luke (Lindsi) Johnson, and Levi Christensen; great grandchildren, Brady, Boston, Coltin, McKenzie, Delanie, and Jax; extended family, Bart Hansen and his son, Noah; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, January 25, 2024. Private graveside services will be in the Hazel Dell Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
