Henry Louis Pomerleau “Lou”, age 92, passed away on April 7, 2023.
He was born January 5, 1931, in Hudson, Massachusetts to Germeine Pomerleau. He was the first of his French Canadian family to be born in the United States. He spent much of his childhood in the home of his Grandmother Elmina Grenier Pomerleau and spoke French while growing up. At the age of 17 he entered the Navy where he traveled the world. After four years, he left the Navy and enlisted in the Air Force a year later. While stationed at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, Nebraska, he met Marjorie Ann Nixon.
