Holley J. Duncan was a remarkable woman whose life was defined by love, faith, creativity, and an open heart. She entered eternal peace on December 13, 2025, surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to flourish in every life she touched.
Born on December 21, 1964, Holley lived with intention and warmth, creating beauty wherever she went. She had a rare gift for bringing people together-turning friends into family and making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and loved. To know Holley was to be embraced by her kindness and her unwavering devotion to those she cared for.
At the center of her life was a love story beyond words. Holley and her beloved husband, Charles "Bubba" Duncan, shared over 46 years of deep, enduring love-a partnership built on faith, friendship, laughter, and loyalty. Their bond was a living testament to commitment and unconditional love.
Holley was preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" Larson and Gloria Larson; Nate Duncan and Nora Duncan; her brothers, Christopher "Topper" Larson and Fredrick "Freddy" Duncan; her sisters, Dorthy "Dot" Larson and Donita Duncan; and many other cherished family members who welcomed her home.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Charles "Bubba" Duncan; her daughters, Danielle Larson and LeVonne Larson; and her son, DeVon Duncan. She is also survived by her sisters, Kellee Larson, Valerie Larson, Ramey "Chicky" Larson, Gail Thomas, Debbie Duncan, Jacki Wilder, and Linda Duncan.
Her greatest joys included her grandchildren: LyNae Patterson, LaShae Larson, Sania Johnson, Destiny Duncan, and JaNae Larson; and her precious great-granddaughter, Alayah Larson-McNeely.
Holley's love extended far beyond bloodlines. She is lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins-and countless others she welcomed as family through love, compassion, and connection.
Holley lived a life rooted in gratitude. She would be grateful for her unwavering faith, for the deep and abiding love she shared with Bubba, and for the beautiful family she helped build-near, far, and chosen. She would be grateful for laughter around the table, for growth through hardship, for creativity that healed, and for every person who walked alongside her on this journey. In honoring her today, we invite you to pause and reflect-what are your three things?
Though we grieve her passing, we choose to celebrate her life-especially as her birthday arrives just two days after her homegoing. In honoring Holley, we celebrate a life well lived, a love well given, and a legacy that will never fade.
Her life was a blessing.
Her love was a gift.
Her memory will live on forever.
