Irene Jensen

Irene Marilyn Jensen, age 91, peacefully passed away on January 4th, 2024 at her loving home with her granddaughter, Amy by her side. Irene was born Nov 15th, 1932 to Mr. William & Edna Suden (Carlson) originally from Clay Center, Kansas; and was one of the oldest living members of her family. Irene will forever be remembered by her sense of humor and contagious smile. She has always been passionate about cosmetics; working for Beno's then eventually retiring from Walgreens in 1995. Irene, also known as 'Sam' had a very kind heart and made a friend of everyone, especially her neighbors. During her retired years she enjoyed spending time at the VFW, going camping, having garage sales, playing poker and other board games, along with bus trips with girlfriends.

In addition to Irene's loving parents, and twin brothers Marvin (Lucy) & Melvin (Anne) Suden, Irene is preceded in death by her husband Eldon Jensen, son Robert 'Bob', daughter Debbie, and long time childhood friend she also called her sister, Marilyn Downing.

She is survived by son, Roger Jensen, grand-daughter Amy Butler (Jeremy) and great grandson Ayden Robinson with a number of other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
