Jack L. Minikus

Jack L. Minikus, age 82 of Council Bluffs passed away May 14, 2012. He was born in Council Bluffs on August 25, 1929 to the late Frank & Nina (Morraine) Minikus. Jack graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and was a stock cutter and bindery specialist for the Klopp Printing Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gretchen; son, Kurt; brother, Don; sister, Arlyne. Jack is survived by his daughters & sons-in-law, Patsy & Mike Behm, Lonnie & Mike Mefferd and Polly & Steve Rosenthal; sons & daughters-in-law, Danny & Jacque Minikus and Kevin & Margo Minikus; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation is Wednesday 6-8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service is Thursday 10AM at the funeral home. Interment is in the Hazel Dell Cemetery followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Memorials are suggested to Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
