Jacqueline A. "Jackie" Triplett, age 87, passed away on July 17, 2025.
She was born March 31, 1938, to the late Oliver and Florence (Mattis) Mintun in Council Bluffs, IA.
Jackie was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, niece, aunt, and a friend to many. Jackie's acts of kindness knew no limits. She never had to try to be kind, it was as much as part of her as her gentle eyes. Whenever we remember this and show kindness to another she will be alive in us. Jackie's capacity for kindness was exceeded only by her capacity for love. From Jackie we can learn a simple truth: Love is the answer. Jackie knew love and inspired love in others. Touch the lives of others as Jackie did for she is a role model of what it means to be an exceptional human being.
As a younger person Jackie was a dancer, a dance instructor, and a foster parent. She enjoyed music, dance, and being creative. She enjoyed decorating her home and frequently entertaining friends and family. During these special times she was happy and always smiling.
Jackie is at peace, free from mental and physical difficulties, and watching us all from above. Jackie was preceded in death by her father and mother, Oliver (Ollie) and Florence Mintun; her husband Donald (Don) Triplett; her brother William (Bill) Mintun; her brother Burt Neumann and sister Phyllis Zaluga.
Jackie is survived by her daughters, Terri Heiser (Dave) and Traci Cameron (John Wade); brother, Jim Mintun (Marilyn); 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, August 1, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
