Jacqulyn Kipp

Jacqulyn "Jackie" Kipp, age 67, passed away August 28, 2023. 

She was born February 11, 1956 to the late James "Whity" and Beverly (Husz) Jefferis. Jackie was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Elkhorn, NE. She was also a member of Northwestern Lumber Association, where she served 3 years, as a Board Member for the Nebraska Lumbermen's.  Jackie also served several years on the Convention Planning Committee and the Education Scholarship Committee. She worked 48 years in the lumber industry, before retiring in 2020.

She enjoyed spending time with her husband, family and friends. Jackie loved boating, riding the Wabash, golfing, music, musical theatre; concerts, and, of course, vacations and shopping...most of all shopping. The hunt for the deal was a passion for her. She had a 6 year battle with cancer and did it gracefully. Jackie was always up beat and fought everything the disease presented. The cancer was always on the inside, but never affected her beauty inside or out.

Jackie was preceded in death by her father, James "Whity" Jefferis; mother, Beverly Jefferis; brother, Wendell Jefferis; nephew, Keith Jefferis; sister-in-law, Sharon Kurns, and brother-in-law, Pat Donnellen.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Kipp of Elkhorn, NE; children, Jamie Scoles (Joe) of Council Bluffs, IA, Brad Scoles (Jen) of Omaha, NE, Kolby Fahlsing (Jake) of Blaine, MN, Kyle Kipp of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren, Bryce, Breanna, Brody, Ethan, Wilder, and Chandler; sister, Janelle (Jim) Neppl; brother, Randy (Bev) Jefferis, and sister-in-law, Rhonda (Jefferis) Shadden; many brother and sister-in-laws; nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles, and cousins. 
 
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, September 01, 2023.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, September 2, 2023. Final Resting Place in Hazel Dell Cemetery.
