James "Frank" Overman

James “Frank” Overman, age 89, passed away peacefully at Midlands Living Center September 1, 2022.

He was born May 28, 1933, to the late John and Edith (Cowan) Overman in Rhodes, IA. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army and was the owner and operator of Overman Service Inc.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Edith "Anne" Moore; son-in-law, Steve Jacobs; brothers, John Overman, Gene Overman, and Charles Overman.

Frank is survived by his wife of 68 years, Bernadette Overman; children, Rosalinda Jacobs, Helen (John) Meyers, Jim (Sheila) Overman, and Janet (Kerry) Anderson; brothers, Bill (Sandy) Overman and Tom (Nancy) Overman; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. The family will direct memorials.
