James L. Brown

James Brown, age 58, passed away peacefully at home October 2, 2021. He was born October 30, 1962 to Claude and Ruth (Frieze) Brown in Council Bluffs, Iowa. James enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, welding and building things. His pride and joy was his family and especially the grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brother, Michael Brown; dog, Adrian.

James is survived by his wife, Tracy Brown; children, Michael (Tyler) Brown, James Brown Jr., Bobbi (Brent) Crawley and Makala (Ben) McGhee; parents, Claude and Ruth Brown; siblings, Teresa Schnepp and Claude (Melissa) Brown Jr.; grandchildren, Hunter, Aidan, Mason, MJ, Isaac, Marley, Chloe; many family and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 4, 2021 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.

The family will direct memorials.
