Janice E. Mckern

Janice E. McKern, age 76, of Council Bluffs passed away May 13, 2016. She was born on October 2, 1939 to the late Lawrence and Lilian (Wadell) Beckner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Billy McKern; sisters, Betty Putney and Patricia Letham; and brothers, Gerald Jerry Beckner, Wayne Beckner, and Jim Beckner. She is survived by her children: Richard (Mary) McKern, Mark McKern (Mandy Swift), and Kathy (Kevin) Lemon; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; other extended family and friends. Visitation is Sunday from 1:00-3:00 p.m., at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Monday 2:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment in Garner Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
