Jean A. Sublet

Jean Ann Sublet, age 88, of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away on November 27,2022. She was born on July 3, 1934 in Mondamin, Iowa to Elmo and Ruth (Weed) Scott. Jean married Bill Sublet on Sept. 29, 1956 in Magnolia, IA. She was a long time chairperson of the Southwest Iowa Make A Wish Foundation.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents, sister Peg Obrecht (Don) and brother Richard Scott (Marion).

She is survived by her husband, Bill: daughter, Nancy Huddle (John); son, Scott Sublet (Jennifer); grandchildren, Jennifer (Richard), Jeff, Ashley (Lonnie), Jesse and Natalie (Danny); great-grandchildren, Trey, Cameron, Laine, McKenzie, Chloe and Evie, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A luncheon will be held at Henry's Diner (836 Old Lincoln Hwy Crescent, IA 51526) on Thursday December 1, 2022 from 1-3pm.
