Jeffrey Stuart Botts

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Brother and Uncle, Jeff Botts on June 25, 2026.

Jeffrey Stuart Botts, age 81, was born February 3, 1945 to the late Arthur and Rozanne (Pilley) Botts in Omaha, NE.

He was a gentle, kind hearted man. His love for his family brought a smile to his face. He enjoyed hearing “What’s new?” with his nieces and nephews. He’d say, “I’m getting so many of them that’s it hard to keep them all straight”, and then he’d chuckle.

Jeff was a big baseball fan and slo-pitch enthusiast. He was a staple of the Style Select softball team back in the day. If you asked who his favorite Major League Baseball team was he’d say, Chicago Cubs in such a matter-of-fact fashion. Other sports like football and basketball also held his interest. In fact, one of his favorites memories was going to Boston to see Larry Bird and the Celtics play.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Arthur Botts.

Jeffrey is survived by his siblings, Sandra Stiefel, Judy Stom, Bonnie Volkens (Wendell) and Fred Botts (Becki) and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM with a funeral service to begin at 10:00 AM at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Interment will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
