Jennie Eva Bradley Davis
Jennie Eva Bradley Davis, age 81, of Crescent, Iowa, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jennie was born on June 12, 1944, in Excello, Missouri, to Frank and Eva Bradley, both of whom preceded her in death. She was the youngest and last surviving of eleven children.
A resident of Crescent, Iowa, for 56 years, Jennie built a life centered on family, hard work, and devotion to those she loved. On January 28, 1963, she married the love of her life, Dave Davis. Together they shared 63 years of marriage, a lifelong partnership marked by love, commitment, and unwavering devotion.
Jennie worked as a laboratory technician for Dr. Vicente Marshall for 14 years and later worked at the Crescent Bank for 10 years. She was respected for her strong work ethic, kindness, and steady presence in both her workplace and community.
Above all, Jennie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was her family and the life she built in Crescent. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, generosity, and unconditional love for those she held dear.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dave Davis; her children, Dave Davis and wife Dawne, Cheri Mensching and husband Scott, Doug Davis and wife Janet, and Jeff Davis; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, Jennie was preceded in death by her ten siblings.
In accordance with her wishes, no funeral services will be held.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has reached out with calls, cards, texts, prayers, food, and expressions of sympathy. Your kindness and compassion have brought great comfort during this difficult time.
Jennie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
