Jennie Kannedy

Jennie M. Kannedy, age 87, passed away peacefully at Northcrest Living Center March 17, 2024. She was born November 18, 1936 to Francis and Charlotte (Bryson) Lewis in Council Bluffs, IA. Jennie graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1954 and retired from State Farm. She was a member of the Council Bluffs Optimist Club and Toastmasters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Kannedy; son, Edward Kannedy; grandson, Nathan Kannedy; sister, Dianne Roggasch; brother, Kenneth Lewis.

Jennie is survived by her children, Doreen (Greg) Mowery and Ben (Lori) Kannedy; grandchildren, Crystal (Andrew) Fetter, Kayla (Dillon) Jackson, Colin Kannedy, Meghann (Tom) Flair, Ryan (Laura) Kannedy; great grandchildren, Conner Mowery, Bronx Fetter, Richard Arthur Fetter, Hezekiah Fetter, Emmanuel Fetter, Aden Flair, Kaitlyn Flair, Emma Flair, Hector Dean Kannedy, Hope Kannedy, Piper Kannedy, Aliyah Jackson, and Wrenleigh Jackson; siblings-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, March 21, 2024. Interment is in Hazel Dell Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
