Jimmy L. Brayton

Jimmy L. Brayton, age 63, of Council Bluffs passed away February 18, 2015. He was born in Clarinda, Iowa on April 6, 1951 to Elton & Wilma (McCord) Brayton. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1969 and then attended Iowa Western. Jimmy was a self-employed contractor. He was preceded in death by his father. Jimmy is survived by his son, Jamison Brayton; daughter, Amy Brown; step-daughters, Michelle Kreft and Kristie Tomford; mother, Wilma Brayton; sister, Teresa Brayton; former spouses, Therese Brayton and Vickie Hering; nieces, April Petersen and Kristina Petersen; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Saturday 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials.
