Joanne H. Ulfers

JoAnne H. Ulfers, age 82, of Council Bluffs passed away March 26, 2014. She was born in Portsmouth, Iowa on April 19, 1931 to the late John & Helen (Schwery) Haller. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Haller; granddaughter, Molly Kay Haferbier. JoAnne is survived by her children, Connie Leinen (Gail), Harold Haferbier, Rodney Haferbier (Chris), Judith Hannon (Russell), Roger Haferbier (Julie), Cristie Walsh (Larry); sisters, Judy Kenkel (Ted) and Janis Kloewer; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday with funeral services to begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Interment is in St. Marys Cemetery at Portsmouth, Iowa. The family will direct memorials.
