John McClain

John McClain, age 77, passed away April 28, 2025. He was born January 6, 1948 to Lawrence and Betty (Sandor) McClain in Canonsburg, PA. He served in the US Army for several years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David McClain; sister, Janie Lowe.

John is survived by his wife Lenora McClain; children, John McClain Jr, and Mary McClain; brother, Lawrence McClain, Donald McClain, and Rex McClain; sister, Susan Rose;and a host of other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at Prime Square Apartments' Community Room, 822 South Main Street, Council Bluffs, Iowa 51503.

John will be laid to rest at Omaha National Cemetery at a later date.
