John Smith

John Smith, age 55, passed away June 28, 2026. He was born June 15, 1971 to Harry Smith Sr and Elizabeth (Osmond) in Malcom, Iowa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, brothers, Harry Smith, Jr., Thomas Smith; and sisters, Kathy Foster, Shirley Times.

John is survived by his wife, Pennie (Haven) Smith; children, Tyler Smith, Collin (Sara) Haven, Chase Haven; brother, James (Paula) Smith; sister, Becky (Mitch) Smothers; mother-in-law, Cathy Haven; nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, July 6, 2026.

The family will direct memorials.
